Remy Martin V.S.O.P Cognac All the worlds Cognacs wish they were Remy Martins Fine Champagne Cognac VSOP and all the worlds drinkers wish they were drinking it! Aged in the finest Limousin oak, giving it a golden yellow amber colour, it has the palate of apricot, peach and hazelnut combined with vanilla and rose aromas.

In 1817, the future King George IV of England asked Hennessy to supply him with a “very superior, old and pale cognac”. By the end of the 19th century, V.S.O.P, as it had become known, had firmly established its reputation among the nobility.

The product of a gradual blend of over 60 eaux de vie taken from the four leading vineyards in the Cognac region, V.S.O.P is slowly matured in old barrels from which most of the tannin has been extracted.

Tasting Notes
Hennessy Privilège V.S.O.P is a complex blend which reveals honeyed fruit flavours punctuated by delicate scents of cloves and cinnamon spice. Rich and subtle, Hennessy Privilège V.S.O.P. is an accomplished cognac of balance and harmony, characterised by a velvety texture and mellow finish.

Martell V.S.O.P Medaillon (Very Superior Old Pale) is a welcome guest at any gathering from a large dinner party to an intimate ‘tete-a-tete’. Smooth and mellow, its fullness holds up well to ice or mixing. The label bears a gold medallion engraved with the portrait of Louis XIV, in the last year of whose reign (1715) Martell was founded.

Taste : Smooth and mellow. Some complexity. Dry fruit. Full with a hint of sweetness. Good length.
